I am addicted to the Santa Fe Pinon incense I picked up at this eco-home store in Silverlake. Besides smelling amazing, the store is chock full of sustainably-made furniture, home accessories and jewelry.
Gilly Flowers
You can't help but stop and stare at the floral artwork in Gilly's windows. Their unique arrangements have inspired me to create a centerpiece of succulents and bamboo for my own dining room table.
Hollywood Farmers' Market
I buy the majority of my groceries at the Hollywood farmers' market every Sunday. Bezian Bakery's delicious eleven grain bread is even better topped with fresh avocado and heirloom tomato. It's also a great place to pick up cut flowers to brighten your home.
Reform School
Another Silverlake shop that also focuses on sustainable design is Reform School. In addition to their hand crafted accessories, stationary and silkscreened tees, they also hold Sewing and Craft 101 classes throughout the month. Just my type of school!
